Anyways... I pulled the motor out of the passenger seat floorboard and got the header halfway on, gotta get some new 11mm brass nuts and possibly 2 new studs. Got the motor on a cart and hooked a gas can up gravity feed right to the carb, hooked the battery from my saab and tried to ripstart with a clothesline...  FAIL Needs a good tuneup and I should be good... got my interior installed (pics coming) just waiting on brake parts and a autostick starter... didn't do much other than that...

Found this... anybody had any experiance with this? Ride quality? Size conversion for car rims? I'm assuming the rounded shape would be awesome for the cars with broke axle style camber because you could just swap sides... I emailed him a while back with no response will try again and post findings later...

Ill have to do some digging... I've owned a. 76 280zx (never ran), 79 camaro (first car) and 89 IROC-Z camaro (first w/ my own $), a 66 (volsrod bare metal w/ beer keg gas tank) ,  69, and 56 beetle, a montero that got stolen, a 86 civic si with borbet racing rims (and rust so bad I could touch the gas pedal if I pushed on the ground side of the carpet) and.... my baby was 89 nissan 240sx hatch, on 17s with a full flow 3" exhaust on cut springs, fun 5 spd and a 2.4 sohc ka24e... man I loved that car but the state said it was stolen 4 times and hade 2 titles and it was gonna be $1000 tot title it... so I junked it. Ill find pics today I hope... wifey had a 89 maxima...

I'm witgh him, that cavalier is way out there... its like a relic job on a guitar... looks beatup and played but none of the uniqueness of a guitarthatsreally been rocked on for 25 years... just let it happen... don't wash it and don't worry about scratches, but don't neglect it because the you end up with rot like my 56 that's splitting at the door seam and the door has no bottom... have fun though! That's the main part! Its your car, your expression, not mine or his... but as a word of wisdom... my wife forbid  me to let my son near my 56... haha. I've been mandated to get a tetnus booster as well

You most definately need to put that beast on bags and (call me crazzy) some all black 26s and cut out the wheel wells, and run some stacks 4 exhaust, flappers n all... nice work man! I can't weld sheet for crap... tips/ tricks?
