there is a guy on one of the forums doing that, He calls it the LS-190E lol. But he's been at it for years. You have to make a custom cross member, fire wall, and trans tunnel. Should be awesome though.

Well, after almost two years, I'm back... still no hoodride for me right now, but it is at least a Euro car.

I have had a ton of cars over the years, But I always keep coming back to these old Mercedes. My first car was the same model. I have had 7 of them total over the years. About two years ago, shortly after I sold the Bug (then subsequently sold the Camaro) I bought this 190E-

Then this happened to it-

But that's ok, cause I got this one-

Then I happened to it and it turned into this-

So I am back in the Euro scene. Working on opening my own shop. I foresee no hoodrides in my future, but I do see several more Mercedes, but this one is here to stay. I've owned it for over a year now, which makes it the longest I have ever owned a car without selling it.

A few of you may remember me on here. Most of you will have no clue, lol. I used to be (and apparently, still am) A Moderator on this site before I disappeared for a year or so. Well, I'm back!

This was my ride back then-

Here is what I am driving now (not a hood ride at all, hence my absence)

Started off looking like this-

And after a lot of this-

It now looks like this-

Well thats all for my re-Introduction for now. Now time for me to go lurk and check out every one's rides.

I personally would prefer painted on patina, rather than actual rust. Mostly because the rust will continue to eat away at your car, weaken the integrity of the metal, and if you change your mind, you cant just repaint the real rust, lol

yeah, the beetle was a cool ride, and a real head turner. But I am a muscle car type of guy, and i was tired of being passed by stock civics!!! haha, that and she wasn't very safe, you know, not having a fame and all.
So I went a picked up my new toy this weekend, 1985 Camaro Z28! I'll have pictures up here soon.
Hopefully, this summer the Camaro will be getting an LS1/ 6 speed conversion straight out of a wrecked Corvette

Thanks for the link superguy, I will be ordering the ''Super Low'' kit soon

update, the Super is back on the road, after a week under the knife. She's got a new trans, new axles, new brakes (i found it funny that when i pulled off the original brake DRUMS, they had "BREMBO" stamped on the inside, HAHA)

i had a friend who painted his car with a base coat that was rust colored, then painted the light/faded ble he wanted, then went back and sanded through the blue in key areas to give it a weathered look

In my opinion the appeal of natural patina is that it typically rusts extremely slowly for whatever reason.  That cav is going to be a total POS after about a year if it sees any weather.

GOING to be? haha

i actually just cut the springs. my struts are blown though, so it would have been easier to just take the springs off. if i can find some sorter struts that might work, ill try it. for right now, its low and rough, but i would like it to be low and smooth.

until i can find a storter strut from another application that might work, this is as low as a super will go (unless you bag it)
