Hi
i didn't post for about one year and a lot happened   :)
i went turbo  :D
The old school draw through first but my turbine did not have carbon seal  so i switched to blow through
Still working on it because the parts are expensive...

The hooking up of the turbine to the exhaust

Draw through tests

Draw through is fantastic, i strongly recommend it. just be sure to buy a turbine with carbon seal or one that has a carbon seal an the market. mine doesn't  :(

Blow through tests

Blow through sounds better but not the same power, at least with this non pressurized carburetor
i am about to buy a pressurized carburetor, solex 32 dis from renault 5gt turbo
i already bought the fuel regulator and new fuel pump also for r5gtt

This link bellow contains all the pictures between 12.03.2012-20.11.2012

Wow, this was the last post on the forum, from August. Not much action on here these days. Fix the door and and color match the deck lid, narrow the beam and slam... Maybe roll it with freshly painted stock wheels but it would be cool in the original patina, surface rust and all.

Saludos!

there is a guy on one of the forums doing that, He calls it the LS-190E lol. But he's been at it for years. You have to make a custom cross member, fire wall, and trans tunnel. Should be awesome though.

Well, after almost two years, I'm back... still no hoodride for me right now, but it is at least a Euro car.

I have had a ton of cars over the years, But I always keep coming back to these old Mercedes. My first car was the same model. I have had 7 of them total over the years. About two years ago, shortly after I sold the Bug (then subsequently sold the Camaro) I bought this 190E-

Then this happened to it-

But that's ok, cause I got this one-

Then I happened to it and it turned into this-

So I am back in the Euro scene. Working on opening my own shop. I foresee no hoodrides in my future, but I do see several more Mercedes, but this one is here to stay. I've owned it for over a year now, which makes it the longest I have ever owned a car without selling it.
